Alzheimer’s disease is a mental disorder, due to which the patient’s memory becomes weak and it affects the functions of the brain. It is usually caused by damage to brain tissue in middle age or old age.

It is the most common type of dementia, affecting a person’s memory, ability to think, and everyday activities.

This disease usually occurs in people over 70 years of age. However, due to diabetes, blood pressure and genetic factors, the disease can also occur at a young age.

1-In the early stages of the disease, it can be controlled with regular screening and treatment.

2-Engage in intellectual activities. Along with studies, one should also be active in social activities, sports like crossword and other brain power activities. Walk daily and do some exercise.

3-Eating almonds and dry fruits sharpens the brain and increases memory. Consumption of cauliflower sharpens the mind.

Consumption of green tea can reduce the effects of a protein called toxic beta-amyloid that grows in the brain during Alzheimer’s. Green leafy vegetables, legumes, whole grains, fish, olive oil help fight Alzheimer’s disease.

 

4-Daily exercise and yoga can reduce the effects of Alzheimer’s. By doing meditation, you can overcome the problem of forgetting.

To sharpen the memory, do Sarvangasana. If you want to sharpen your mind and maintain your memory then do Bhujangasana. Do Kapalbhati Pranayama to increase concentration.

5- Alzheimer’s disease is on the rise. Treatment can slow its progression, but it is not possible to control it completely, once it occurs, the disease remains for life. Certain medications and lifestyle changes can slow it down.

What not to eat:

If you have Alzheimer’s, do not consume sesame, dried tomatoes, pumpkin, butter, cheese, fried food, junk food, red meat, pastries and sweets.
