Anxiety is a universal human trait, which includes elements such as stress, fear. It is an adaptive mechanism, which alerts a person for future danger and stimulates the sympathetic nervous system of the body to deal with this danger. Anxiety means a physical, mental and behavioural response.

Anxiety is terrible for humans. In this race, the way our life has become, it is common to have anxiety, lack of trust in relationships, competition to get ahead of each other, feeling insecure, fighting, quarrelling, wrong behaviour, staying away from society, in our life.

Being cool is all because of restlessness. Although everyone has anxiety, it is difficult to recognize it as a disease. If a particular negative thought and problem persists for a very long time, then it starts affecting your everyday life, which can be fatal.

Anxiety is born out of depression and despair, when we ignore our feelings it causes our unhappiness. Similarly, if ignored, depression can take the form of anxiety. In this situation, the person is always afraid that something wrong is going to happen, and these are panic attacks.

  1. Worry too much– Overthinking of small things and this happening again and again in your life is a symptom of anxiety, due to which you are not able to do your important tasks well.

 2. Family history – Individuals who have had problems related to mental disorders in their family may be more prone to problems of anxiety disorders like obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). These disorders can be passed from one generation to another.

 3. Health-related matters – The person who is suffering from depression for a long time starts to decline in his work capacity, due to this the stress related to work starts increasing and then anxiety is born.

 4. Stressful events – This includes workload or the death of someone close.

Generalized anxiety disorder:

This is the most common anxiety disorder. Its origin is gradual but its duration is long i.e. up to about 5 months. It is more common to occur in women than men. It usually occurs in people in the age group of 30-40 years. Its prevalence in the general population is 3 to 8 per cent.

   2-Feeling of interference because in this the victim loses contact with his/her reality.

   3-Loss of connection with external reality.
